Hey have you heard about it? I’ve got this little tip for you that is going to be so super easy to use, there’s this amazing tool that you can take away anywhere that you like; and help you to create video content ideas on the fly. Stay tuned and I’m going to tell you all about it.
Hi guys Joshua Van Den Broek here, Founder of Video Marketing Done For You and in this video I am going to share with you a quick little tool that you can use on the go. So that tool that I am talking about is called Evernote.
I am not sure if you’ve used it before, but if you haven’t go and check it out at Evernote.com
Now the reason why I love this little tool is because it goes everywhere with you. You can use it on your mobile device, you can use it on your smartphone, you can use it on your desktop or mac, pc it doesn’t matter what device that you use. You can get it from both the Google Play and the App Store.
So the reason why I like this tool is because when I am out driving my car, you can imagine me I am in the car and I am driving; and all of a sudden I have this brilliant idea to talk about how to fly kites in a video for my clients.
Now obviously if I just keep driving that idea will vanish and go away out into the ether and you don’t even get to use that. So what I tend to do is as these ideas come to me from time to time, I will pull over on the side of the road and pull out my mobile phone; because you’re not supposed to use your phone whilst you’re driving.
And then I will jump into the Evernote app, and open up a new note inside my content folder where I store all my content ideas.
So in that note I will jot down the topic, “”how to fly a kite” and then I will jot down a few key points about what it is I want to cover in that video.
So I might be talking about all the different equipment you need to create your kite, or where you can buy a kite from, and then you might want to talk about some of the weather conditions and things like that. You get the idea.
When you next have your shiny idea and you are somewhere, perhaps in the shower or driving the car like I am; and you need to record that. Just go and open up Evernote, add in that content idea, jot down a few bullet points of the key points that you want to cover in the video; and it’s ready for you next time you go to do a video.
So fast forward and it’s filming day, like it is right now and you jump into your Evernote and look through all the different content ideas. So you pick that one that you are ready to go with and then you sit down in front of the camera. Easy peasy!
